I am originally from North Carolina. I moved to Ohio in 1989, so long enough to call it home. I still return to North Carolina 5 to 6 times a year, so I remember how to speak with an accent properly. I am a father to four children. My oldest Alexan is in the Navy Reserves and attends school. Kendal, is waiting on a Navy Seal Contract. Trevor, is a senior in high school and will be attending Capital Law school on an academic and football schlorship.. My youngest Logann is an incoming Sophomore, playing softball and running cross country. The thing I like best about Byers, is working for a family based business which values family time and encourages you to take time to witness your children’s activities. I also love working in a positive environment, where life long relationships are built and fostered. My hobbies are anything outdoors. I spend most of my free time with my chocolate lab, Rylee. She loves to retrieve anything you can throw, hunt pheasants or spend time fishing with me on my small boat. Ok, I fish and she swims. The older I get, the more I appreciate grilling, and the little things in life; quality conversations with my girlfriend Edie, a good book, close friendships, glass of wine, listing instead of talking, and encouraging others to be the best they can be. My favorite restaurant is Parker’s Patio and Grill. I love to cook. I would rather stay home and prepare a nice meal, and relax on my patio. No waiting in line for the bathrooms and I know they are clean. The best advice I ever received was from my Grandfather, who is 96 years old, a World War II veteran, and one of my personal hero’s. He isn’t a man of many words and when he speaks it is usually of significance. My girlfriend Edie had gotten into some poison ivy and was in bad shape. I called my granddad to see what he might suggest, perhaps an old school remedy. “Learn to identify it and stay away from it”…..now that is wisdom.

I was born in Chicago, but resided in Detroit most of my childhood. I came to Columbus in the early 70’s, and graduated from Thomas Worthington High School. I continued my education at The Ohio State University and obtained a degree in Finance and Accounting. I got into the car business in the early 80’s. The best thing I like about working for Byers is that they are a community minded family run organization which cares about their employees and families. When I am not selling cars, I like to go on vacation where its warm and sunny. My favorite night out in Columbus would be a great dinner at Eddie Merlot. The best advice I have received is “Treat others as you would want to be treated yourself”.
