Chrysler Honors Veterans Every Day

Chrysler honors and respects our nation's veterans every day. Veterans Day just gives the American car company an excuse to be overly gracious. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) honored its veteran employees last week during a ceremony at its Auburn Hills, Michigan headquarters. Chrysler presented them the American flag, and sang the National Anthem, along with a prayer and presentations by the Academy of the Sacred Heart Choir.

  • Currently, there are 16 FCA US employees on active military leave; 375 active or inactive guardsmen and reservists, as well as 5,172 military veterans.

In addition to throwing veteran employees a special thank you bash, Chrysler continues to provide support for workers enlisted in national defense organizations. FCA originally signed the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) in 2008. This means they are devoted to providing excellent human resource policies and management tools that allow employees to participate in the National Guard and Reserve.
